Deputies Arrest Suspect Wanted for Possession with Intent to Distribute

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Prince George's County Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/ Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Clarence Reese of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for Controlled Dangerous Substance Possession with Intent to distribute that was obtained by the County Police on September 5, 2014.

According to the warrant, on August 20^th in the 10600 block of Lake Arbor Way in Mitchellville, MD Reese was operating a vehicle without his seatbelt on when he was stopped by a police officer.  The warrant states that when the vehicle stopped Reese quickly exited the vehicle, attempting to flee. The warrant further states that as a result of a personal search, a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and a vehicle search revealed a zip lock bag with 18 bags of marijuana.  

  

Upon receipt of the warrant, deputies’ investigation led them to an address in the 8100 block of Sheriff Road in Landover, MD. Deputies went to the residence where they spotted the suspect looking through a window after they knocked.  Deputies took Reese into custody without incident. He was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.

Reese is also being charged with Possession of marijuana.
